University of oregon coursework

I took several PR and media based classes during my time at the UO. These courses helped me become a better writer, storyteller, and overall communicator. Here’s some samples of my work.

Public Relations/Communications Classes

Group project for Max & Ollie, a company that teaches kids about sports through engaging children’s books. Developed a full-scale PR plan to increase sales and strengthen social media engagement.

Class feature interview with Trent Liles of The Vintage Underground, an auto shop specializing in European cars. Focused on asking meaningful questions and using storytelling to craft an engaging article.

Brand reach analysis of the New York Liberty examining the team’s social media presence and its impact on overall popularity and audience growth.

Final project for Boston Red Sox event I created. Wrote a news release, media pitches, audio news release, and media advisory to learn to secure coverage for a large scale event.

Logo and jersey redesign project for the Golden State Warriors, using AI tools to create the visual.

Class issues management report for Alaska Airlines analyzing three major issues the company was facing. Developed research skills and ability to identify and address potential challenges in a company.

Photo story featuring Trent Liles of The Vintage Underground, capturing candid moments of him at work with captions to tell his story. This project gave me more confidence behind the camera.

Video story featuring Trent Liles of The Vintage Underground, edited using Adobe Premiere Pro. This project challenged me to step outside my comfort zone and sparked an interest in video editing.
